“Road of Light and Hope” Exhibition: Commemorating the 120-year History of Consulate-General of Japan in Chicago

Exhibition: “Road of Light and Hope – National Treasures of Todai-ji Temple, Nara / Photographs by Miro Ito”, Consulate-General of Japan in Chicago, 1st – 28th Nov.2018

The next venue for our globally touring exhibition series, “Road of Light and Hope” National Treasures of Todai-ji Temple, Nara / Photographs by Miro Ito” will be held at JIC Hall of the Consulate-General of Japan in Chicago (1st – 28th Nov. 2017), commemorating its 120-year history.

With the special courtesy of Todai-ji Temple, many never-seen-before images of Tenpyo Era sculpture from Nara, Japan, can be seen at the venue.

41 artistic photo images printed on washi paper will be presented in hanging scroll (kakejiku) format.
